June Closed Transactions
Our brokerage closed 14 transactions in June amounting to more than 152,000 square feet and 17.08 acres.
The month’s largest transaction by volume was the sale of 14.23 acres at 2262 Refugee Rd. Peter Griffith represented the buyer, Mile 26 Trucking, which specializes in refrigerated trucking services. The transaction marks Griffith’s fourth buyer rep engagement for the company which now controls nearly 22 acres of M Zoned property in the 43207-zip code. Mile 26 purchased the property for speculative development and plans to build a 14,000-square-foot building on the front five acres of the property and the rear acreage will be available for build-to-suit in the coming months.
Industrial transactions picked up this past month, accounting for roughly half of the month’s activity. Matthew Osowski, SIOR, Blake DeCrane, SIOR and Curt Berlin, SIOR closed the month’s largest industrial transaction by volume. The team represented the tenant in signing a new lease for 19,764 square feet at 1667 Watkins Rd.
Matt Gregory, SIOR, CCIM, Philip Bird, SIOR and Mitchell Moore closed 80% of the month’s office transactions equating to 51,646 square feet across four transactions – nearly one-third of the month’s volume.
Mike Semon, Dan Sheeran Jr., and Dan Sheeran closed the largest retail transaction by volume for June with the sale of 3221 S. High St. The team represented the buyer which purchased the 7,759 square foot retail building for $1.48 million. Overall, retail transactions fell slightly from the previous month.
